Cancellation & Refund Policy
Event Postponement or Cancellation:
ESG Academy reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control, such as instructor illness or force majeure events (e.g., floods, earthquakes, political instability, a pandemic like COVID-19). ESG Academy will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event or offer suitable alternatives.
Ineligible for Refund:
Refund requests will not be accepted if you have attended the online classroom training for up to one day or accessed/downloaded course material from the learning portal.
Request for Cancellation:
All course cancellation requests must be emailed to support@esgacademy.online. Please include your order details, such as the course name and date, and any other relevant information to support your cancellation request.
Valid Refund Request:
A student’s refund request will be considered valid only if it is made from the student’s registered email address.
Acceptance of Cancellation:
Upon receiving a cancellation request, ESG Academy will review it and determine its reasonableness. We will investigate the request and inform the student of the acceptance or rejection via email to their registered email address.
Class Discontinuation:
If ESG Academy discontinues classes for a subject before completing the total number of classes, the refundable amount will be determined at the discretion of ESG Academy. This amount will be based on the remaining classes or may be adjusted against other available batches or schedules.
Discounted Courses:
No refunds will be provided for discounted courses.
Academic Tie-ups:
No refunds will be provided for courses offered in collaboration with educational institutes.
Refunds for Duplicate Payments:
In the case of duplicate payments made by the customer, the refund will be processed through the original payment method within 7 to 21 working days after receiving notification from the customer.
Cancellation Timeframe:
To be eligible for a refund, a student must cancel a class for a specific subject at least 24 hours before the upcoming class.
Non-Refundable Taxes:
In the case of a refund, taxes paid will not be refunded.
Re-attendance Option:
If learners wish to re-attend online instructor-led classes for the purchased course and no batch availability is available shortly, the maximum refund applicable will be 10% of the total amount paid.
Processing Time:
All refund requests will be processed within 30 working days after reviewing and approving such requests.
For Self-Paced Learning:
- No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for self-paced courses.
- Access Revocation: If a self-paced course is shared with others or multiple users, or if the system material/content is intended to be copied, no refund will be provided, and access to the course will be revoked. Additionally, the account associated with such activity will be blocked.

Note:
- The Refund Policy is legally binding and subject to change at the discretion of ESG Academy. Any modifications or updates to this policy will be communicated through our website and other appropriate channels.
- ESG Academy is the training vertical of Tattva ESG Solutions Private Limited. All legal issues will be addressed as per the legal requirements applicable to Tattva ESG Solutions Private Limited.
- Any dispute, difference, or question that may arise between the parties, or any person claiming under them, touching or arising out of this agreement, or the subject matter hereof, shall be referred to a sole Arbitrator appointed by the first party. The award passed by the Arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties. The venue of Arbitration will be Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
